On behalf of the entire team at Lake Street, I am very excited to announce that I have stepped into the Managing Partner role, effective January 1st!
Next month marks Lake Street’s 20th anniversary, and I’ve been fortunate to be a part of the journey for more than half of that time. The firm has grown and evolved in many ways – we now support more client families than ever, we have grown our team to 45 employees, and we have developed a terrific culture.
When supporting our clients, we endeavor to preserve and grow wealth. In my role as Managing Partner, my duty is to preserve and grow all aspects of Lake Street – our culture, our team, our service offering, and more. With growth comes challenges and opportunities. Through Buddy’s stable leadership, Lake Street has successfully navigated challenges and seized the many opportunities which we have created for ourselves. I am now presented with the opportunity to lead Lake Street into our third decade, for which I am grateful. While I don’t know what specific challenges lie in the years ahead, I have been preparing for this role in various ways throughout my career, and Buddy and I have been working on the transition plan and preparing for over a year. Last quarter, I spent one-on-one time with each team member to learn about what is working well, and what challenges exist so that I can remove obstacles and help us thrive as individuals and as a firm.
Buddy continues to be a dedicated Partner at Lake Street and will shift his focus to continuing to improve our investment strategy and research, as well as serving clients in his capacity as Partner and Investment Advisor. I would like to thank Buddy for his leadership and mentoring over the years, and I look forward to continuing to work together.
As always, I am available to discuss any questions which might arise.
Thanks,
Joe Chase
